Two young women, one an extrovert, an easy smile and confidence and the other, a little shy and reserved, and headstrong.

Both marry good men, arranged marriages and are happy in their own marriages. The extrovert marries a man who guesses her needs before she knows them, wants to protect her and do everything for her. The introvert marries a man who pushes her to do everything for herself, to express her opinions, to ask for what she wants or needs fearlessly.

Two years later, the introvert is no longer an introvert – she makes conversations with complete strangers without feeling any unease, and is brimming with confidence. Her self-esteem levels have shot up.

The extrovert on the other hand, never needing to do anything, finds that her self-esteem and confidence has dipped, that she’s no longer able to converse with just about everyone and smiles guardedly.

But both men love their wives immensely. Not only is it visible, but you can feel it too. And yet.

Different kinds of love.

Different people.

SUCH different results.
